As we move through 2012, embarking upon a new Conference Year, we are blessed with a new leadership team: Bishop Adam Jefferson Richardson, Jr. & Dr. Connie Speights Richardson. The Bishop's first message, preached at our Christian Education Leadership Congress in Orlando at The HRosen Shingle Creek Resort, is one that should encompass a universal desire of all Disciples everywhere: "Lord, I Want to be a Christian (in my Heart)." Bishop Richardson's message culminated the powerful theme of CELC: DISCIPLESHIP.
As we move forward through the Annual Conferences, let us continue to pray for & support our Episcopal Leaders and each of the conferences, and look to The Holy Spirit for guidance, that the work we have done & will do, will speak for us and through us.
